Our Mission
The mission of the John E. Mack Institute is to explore the frontiers of human experience, to serve the transformation of individual consciousness, and to further the evolution of the paradigms by which we understand human identity.
The Institute is named in recognition of John E. Mack, M.D. (1929-2004), Pulitzer Prize-winning author and Professor of Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School, to honor his courageous examination of human experience and the ways in which perceptions and beliefs about reality shape the human condition.
The John E. Mack Institute seeks to discover and advance the careers of individuals who seek to expand our understanding of reality and who embody the qualities of John E. Mack which made him such an inspiring leader.
We identify these individuals as John E. Mack Fellows and partner with them to increase the impact of their talents and ideas to create a world of greater beauty, peace and justice.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
Your tax-deductible donation is welcomed.
